Set up in the 1950's, our client leads the field in textile identification systems and have a vast client base across the US and 67 countries throughout the world. As part of a larger group they are involved in tagging systems for the laundry industry as well as technographics.
Owing to exciting new developments, there is now an opening for a dynamic and innovative thinking Chemist to join the Technical department. Ideally a recent Chemistry graduate, you will preferably have 1-3 years industrial Polymer experience (routine/QA/QC or developmental), though a fresh grad with relevant project or placement year would be considered. Experience or knowledge of the textile industry could also be an advantage.
Working as a team with the MD, Sales Manager and Production Manager, your brief will be to investigate new market areas and devise new products/solutions for the textile industry. You will need excellent communication and presentation skills, creativity, drive, imagination and flare. In return you can expect a unique and challenging career with excellent prospects in this rapidly expanding and forward moving company.
Remuneration package (£16-22k dependant on experience)
