This is an exciting opportunity to join an expanding group at the forefront of clinical technology. The role offers an opportunity to influence drug development across a broad spectrum of clinical needs and to work with key clinical research groups in the UK and throughout Europe. Our client is a major international pharmaceutical company and you will be based at the excellent European R&D headquarters in Southern England.

The role is with an existing team which identifies and validates new and existing non-invasive technologies for quantitative localisation in man of drug bio-markers. These technologies then are employed in clinical efficacy and safety studies with new drugs to provide proof of concept and accurate decision making.

CLINICIAN
 You will be trained in Radiology or Medical Physics or alternatively have research experience using non-invasive monitoring and imaging techniques. Candidates will have a scientific approach to medicine, ideally exemplified by an intercalated degree, MD or PhD, with several years experience of the relevant technology. A sound clinical background and an understanding of modern clinical practice is essential.

SCIENTIST
 Candidates will be life science graduates, ideally with a clinically oriented PhD, and several years research experience that included testing and validating non-invasive clinical monitoring and imaging techniques.
